This mom-and-pop labor of love is known for its over-the-top and rich flavors ice cream flavors. Fat Cat Homemade Ice Cream is serving up scoops in their Fuquay-Varina shop, or you can find them cruising around town and at local events in their ice cream van. Over-the-top flavor needs an over-the-top brand; Fat Cat doesn’t do basic. We were tasked with creating a system that felt playful, mischievous, and showed the quality and passion that go into every scoop. The Fat Cat mascot embodies all the emotions one can feel over a delicious scoop of ice cream: ecstatic over a new flavor, jealous over a friend’s cone, to the sadness when your ice cream is all gone. This brand is downright playful and sticks with you long after the last bite.
